Emma Fager

International Relations

Emma Fager is a master’s student in Political Science at Columbia University whose research focuses on political violence, polarization, and the behavior of political elites. She is particularly interested in questions of security and conflict, including how political divisions influence the actions of leaders and institutions.

Before coming to Columbia, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University, where she double majored in Political Science and Philosophy. Her work draws primarily from International Relations and examines the political and institutional dynamics that contribute to conflict and violence, particularly in the United States.
