Sonali Deliwala is a PhD student in comparative politics. Her research interests focus on the political economy of development and public service delivery, with a regional emphasis on South Asia. She is also interested in the use of behavioral interventions and monitoring mechanisms to improve bureaucratic performance and public sector accountability.
Ms. Deliwala completed a B.A. in Economics and Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania (2022) and an MSc in Economic Policy for International Development at the London School of Economics (2025). Previously, she worked at J-PAL South Asia and was a 2022–23 Fulbright–Nehru Scholar.
