Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, Foreign Minister of Guatemala Permanent Representative of Guatemala to the United Nations RECEPTION at 4:00 p.m. LECTURE AND DISCUSSION 4:30-6:00 p.m. The Gert Rosenthal Lecture series, sponsored by Columbia University’s Department of Political Science, presents an annual lecture focused on international diplomacy and economic development in honor of Gert Rosenthal, former Ambassador of Guatemala to the United Nations, Minister of Foreign Relations of Guatemala, and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean.
