Yingtong Chen is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science, specializing in international relations and comparative politics. Her research interests focus on the intersection of political psychology and security, particularly the role of emotions and identity in conflicts. Ms. Chen earned her B.A. in political science (international security) from the University of Washington, where she was honored with the Robert Alan Dahl Award for Academic Excellence and the Dean’s Medal in the Social Sciences.
