Shigeo Hirano

Shigeo Hirano (Ph.D., Harvard, 2003) teaches and conducts research in American politics, political economy, and comparative politics. Prior to coming to Columbia, Professor Hirano was a faculty member at New York University and spent a year as a visiting researcher at the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics at Princeton University.
