Emma Swanson is a Ph.D. student in political science specializing in american politics. Her research interests include climate and energy politics, local government, and political behavior.
Ms. Swanson received a B.A. in political science and a B.S. in microbiology from UC Santa Barbara. Prior to starting at Columbia, she was an AmeriCorps CivicSpark Fellow with the County of Ventura in California.
