Anna Garner is a second-year Ph.D. student at Columbia University working on international relations. She is focusing on climate change and migration. Her work examines the effect of climate migration on public opinion and international cooperation to address climate issues. She is also interested in using multi-method approaches such as text analysis, survey experiments, and interview-based fieldwork. Prior to enrolling at Columbia, she was an Analyst at Abt Associates where she worked on public and international health as well as environmental issues. She earned her B.A. in political science from Swarthmore College.
