The School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University welcomes Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster, the Director of the Army Capabilities Integration Center and Deputy Commanding General of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, for a discussion on emerging threats to international and national security and their implications for defense strategy. Institute member Austin Long, Assoc. Professor of International and Public Affairs, will moderate the dialogue in a forum intended to explore academic and policy questions of contemporary civil-military relations.
