William Pawlak is a master’s degree candidate in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University. His primary interest is in political theory and his research fields include modern and ancient political thought, the political philosophy of Immanuel Kant and G.W. Hegel, and international relations/security studies.
Mr. Pawlak graduated summa cum laude from Norwich University in 2020. His professional research experiences include multiple internships at the U.S. Army War College Center for Strategic Leadership’s Division of Strategic Intelligence.
In August of 2020, Mr. Pawlak was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in the US Army Reserve.
