Dr. Dorie is the Principal Data Scientist at Code for America, a 501-(c)3 nonprofit organization that partners with government to make the delivery of public services more equitable, effective, and accessible with technology. At Code for America, he analyzes intervention effectiveness, supports programmatic decision making through quantitative methods, and uses artificial intelligence to enhance service delivery. He received his Ph.D. in statistics from Columbia University in 2014 and completed a postdoctoral training program at New York University in 2016, where he focused on Bayesian non-parametrics for causal inference.
