Mariam Yeghikyan is an M.A. candidate in the Department of Political Science, specializing in the subdisciplines of political theory and political philosophy. Within it, her interests include modern and contemporary political thought, democratic thought (social contract theory), and existentialism.
Ms. Yeghikyan also holds a teaching assistant position at the Department of Political Science of Barnard College.
Prior to coming to Columbia University, Ms. Yeghikyan graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in philosophy.
