Judith Espinoza is an M.A. student in political science at Columbia University with a focus on international relations. Her primary research interests are security issues, armed conflict and terrorism.
Ms. Espinoza earned a B.A. in international relations in March of 2020 from Knox College. As an undergraduate student she was a McNair scholar and conducted research on groups such as MS 13 and Hamas, analyzing how the groups, respectively, formed, found consistent support and transformed not only their immediate environment but the politics of their broader geopolitical areas.
