Erik Lin-Greenberg is a Ph.D. candidate studying international relations. For the 2018-2019 academic year, Mr. Lin-Greenberg is a predoctoral fellow at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Cooperation. His research focuses on the effect of technology on conflict dynamics, international law, alliances, and the use of force. His dissertation project examines the impact of remote warfighting technologies - like drones - on conflict escalation.
Mr. Lin-Greenberg's publications appear or are forthcoming in scholarly and policy outlets including Security Studies, Asian Security, International Peacekeeping, The Washington Post (online), War on the Rocks, and The South China Morning Post.
Prior to attending Columbia, he served as an officer in the United States Air Force.
