Research Interest

Edward (Edan) Daniels graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University, where he received a B.A. from the School of Arts and Sciences in political science, with a focus on critical intelligence. He has held research fellowships at the National Intelligence University through the Intelligence Community Center for Academic Excellence (IC-CAE), where he provided historical analysis of declassified intelligence reports, and at the National Contagion Research Institute, where he studied the effects of social media algorithms and the dissemination of external state-sponsored propaganda on democratic societies.

Mr. Daniels is an M.A. candidate in American politics, with research interests in political extremism, authoritarian challenges to constitutional democracy, and critical intelligence approaches to effective terrorism and counterterrorism programs.
