AJ is a candidate for an MA in Political Science at Columbia University. His studies are focused on comparative politics, with particular research interests in issues of political inequality, human rights, and social justice and activist movements.
Mr. Golio earned his BA in International Political Economy from Fordham University, where he also studied English and Humanitarian Affairs. He spent two intermittent years in New Orleans with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, working with homeless individuals and on issues of housing instability. As an undergraduate, he interned for the Brennan Center for Justice and the New York State Division of Human Rights. He also has non-academic passions for theater, literature, and is a proud 610 Stomper.
