Alexander Wolffenbuttel is an M.A. student in Political Science at Columbia University specializing in international relations and international political economy. He has a substantive interest in international institutions and law compliance, international cooperation, and formal and quantitative methods. He interned at the United Nations Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and is a trainee at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, The Netherlands.
Prior to Columbia, he received a B.A. in International Justice at Leiden University in The Netherlands and an LL.M. from Edinburgh Law School in international law with a minor in economic law. He conducted research at the Public-Private Partnership Research Center at the Geneva School of Economics and Management and is currently a legal research assistant at the University of Edinburgh.
