Sung Eun Kim is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University, specializing in international political economy. Her research examines how political and economic actors strategically provide information about international economic activities and trade to individuals, and how that information shapes individual attitudes and decisions as consumers and voters. Sung received an M.A. and an M.Phil in Political Science from Columbia University and a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies and an M.A. in Political Science from Korea University.
