Daniel Thomas is a first year Ph.D. student in political science, specializing in comparative politics. His research interests include the domestic determinants of foreign policy, regime change, and leader survival.
Daniel received a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in May 2016. Prior to coming to Columbia, he served as an intern at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia and has also been a visiting student at the University of Oxford and the Higher School of Economics.
