Armin S Steuernagel
Serial-entrepreneur, and amongst others co-founder and CEO of Universnatur GmbH, Damia GmbH and Purpose Foundation. He founded his first business at the age of 16 – a mail order company for sustainable toys, which provides him with a basic income. Other companies try to get children exited about good food (Mogli, www.mogli.de) or give employees and citizens a voice (VotesApp). Currently he focuses on establishing a new form of corporate ownership: purpose-companies, that see profit as means and not an end and link entrepreneurship and ownership. He has co-founded Purpose.Capital, a VC for self-owned companies. He studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at University of Witten/Herdecke and Oxford. Currently he studies political science at Columbia University (MA). His main focus is (1) understanding how constitutions are made, how constitutional conventions are designed and (2) what we can learn from American political development for the European political development. In the latter field he is particularly interested in federalism, and decentralization.
Together with Prof. Bruno S. Frey he has published several articles about the EU and federalism, in major European newspapers including DIE ZEIT and FAZ. See a list here: https://www.neopolis.network/who/armin-steuernagel/
He is member of the young think tank of the Club of Rome, ThinkTank 30 (www.tt30.de).
