Lauren K. Suire attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 2017-2021, obtaining her B.A. in English with minors in math, history, and political science. She is currently continuing her education at Columbia University, pursuing a master's in political science with a focus on American politics. Her research interests include polarization, partisanship, Congress, voting behavior, and social policy. She is deeply interested in education reform and plans to pursue a career as a U.S. Congresswoman. Her personal interests include cooking, crafts, fashion, board games, caring for animals, and creative writing. Some of her creative works are published in ULL's 2021 Southwestern Review.
